CREATING YOUR PERSONA PROFILES

Congratulations! You are excited about the thought of starting a blog. Unfortunately you are not sure how to attract and build an audience. In order to achieve this you will need to develop Customer Personas which is a representation of who your customers really are, their goals, the end results they would like to achieve and obstacles they may have in purchasing your project.

As you build your blog your goal is to have your posts:
  • connect with your readers
  • Solve problems your customers have
  • connect with your audience in a familiar voice
Here is a really helpful video from NOW Marketing Group titled "What Is A Buyer Persona". It defines what a Buyer Persona is and how to develop them.

I have a much better idea of who I am marketing to now that I have defined personas and know what appeals to them. Feel free to add a face to your persona by adding an image. For example it would be more effective if my Ads focused on a discount or sale since my personas are price conscious.

Getting to know who your customer is through the creation of personas will allow you to write content of value and keep them coming back for more.

Have you created customer personas? Comment about what you've learned about your customers!
