Five years ago Gabriella Vamvakidis and her family sold their Woodbridge home and moved to Stouffville to fulfill a lifelong dream to have their own horses. They came to appreciate their therapeutic energy and beauty by spending time with them and caring for them on a daily basis. "Horses are kind, honest, simple and authentic creatures that respond very readily to good leadership, clear boundaries and consistent communication. " What is the name of your business and what inspired you to start?
The name of my business is Copperwood Trail. I was inspired to start this business to share my passion for horses with other people. Tell us about your business. We have a small horse farm where we welcome people to book time with us to visit and meet our horses up close and interact with them. It is also an opportunity for people to get away to the country and experience nature at its best.

What is the name of your business and what inspired you to start?
I am Dee Boswell-Buck, an entrepreneur whose goal is to Rock My Biz everyday. What does that mean you might ask? It means that I strive to be intentional with what I need to do to manage my business.
I sound pretty confident eh? Insert sound of tires squealing to a halt. It can be pretty overwhelming. Owning it as a business owner, being there as a mom (while suffering Mom Guilt), and rocking it (ok... not so rocking it) as a wife (confession... I'm tired, or suffering from wife guilt). The past year and a half has seen big changes for me in my role as a small business owner. A lot of those changes have come from the people who have been infiltrating my circle. Other Female Entrepreneurs. These women are inspiring, I am in awe of their stories, their struggles and their ability to show up. When I meet someone new, my affirmation grows that I can do this. I was featured in a few of blog interviews over the past year. Not only did the interviews give me street cred, they reminded me of what I accomplished, and inspired others. If I am always thankful and inspired by these amazing women, surely there are others who are in need of these stories, lessons, and words of wisdom. So I present to you Rock Her Biz! My ode to the women in business who inspire me and those who need to be inspired. I invite you to comment with your questions and thoughts on the blog posts. Wishing you Inspiration and Abundance, |
