    Social Media Coordinator (Now Hiring)

    The Social Media Coordinator creates and maintains a strong online presence through innovative content creation, brand development and marketing strategy. This position is responsible for new client onboarding, digital audits, developing and executing client social media campaigns. The Social Media Coordinator has an eye for design and style while regularly creating fresh and on-brand content for awareness and engagement. Remote within Ontario (GTA preferred)

    List of Main Responsibilities
    • Create & maintain content calendars, including Facebook & Instagram posts, Instagram stories, e-mail campaigns, blogs, listing promotions, YouTube videos and more.
    • Build and run regular print and social promotions and campaigns and track their success ·
    • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to represent the brand and the message.
    • Accurately upload/schedule/post assets, including photos and videos, with corresponding copy and shares on all social platforms.
    • Review and respond to user-generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner.
    • Strategize with clients to develop social media initiatives, promotions, creative, and content for all platforms (Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest/Web/YouTube).
    • Suggest new ways to attract prospective clients, like promotions and competitions.
    • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
    • Meet and onboard new clients.
    • Manage and monitor social media channels.
    • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI weekly.
    • Demonstrate an “all hands on deck” approach to responsibilities.
    • Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties, as assigned

    List of Key Qualifications
    Marketing & Strategy:
    • Minimum of 2 years marketing and brand management with emphasis on social media management.
    • Passion for new solutions and challenging broad-based audiences.

    Social Media Management:
    • Proven history of content calendar management and managing brand campaigns Proficiency in using social media software (Facebook Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Hootsuite)
    • Experience in social media advertising platforms (including paid advertising) – Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube & Instagram.
    • Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices

    Written Content Creation
    • Writing and content creation experience (blogging, social campaigns, brochures, etc) · Blogging and SEO article writing experience.
    • Exceptional grammar and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language

    Graphic Design
    • Knowledge of forward design concepts and brand guidelines.
    • Design experience and working ability to use Canva software to create social media posts and print advertisements.

    Personal Skills & Abilities
    • Positive team-first attitude
    • Robust research skills
    • Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Must possess superior organizational abilities and intense attention to detail.
    • Strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines

    Part-Time (guaranteed up to 24 hours/week), option for additional hours 3-6 months time.
