This led to my involuntary break up with social media. While my team pulled through for my clients, my appearance on social media was limited. My health improved, and then my daughter turned 10. This meant I still had to disconnect as my husband and I planned a short birthday getaway. Thankfully, I still had an abundance of traffic coming to my website with dream clients booking into my calendar. Voluntary or not, it's totally possible to take a break from social media while still having the right people reach out. Here are 3 things you can do that will allow this to happen. ✔️Update your Google My Business a minimum of once per week. (I update mine twice per week). When keywords are entered on Google, then GMB may help you show up when your website doesn't. ✔️Blogging isn't dead! Share helpful blog posts to your website a minimum of 2x per month (I share 4 posts on my site). These will bring traffic to your website and if your business is location specific, be sure to include the areas that you service! ✔️Start and maintain a Pinterest account. Believe it or not, EVERY business can and should be on Pinterest. You can share your blog posts on the platform and even older Instagram posts. If you do share your social media content, remember to share the educational and helpful content that your future customers can benefit from. Starting with these 3 tips will allow for less time online so you can take care of yourself and your business. These steps will also help the search engines to pull up your business from other areas of the online space. If leveraging other areas of the world wide web feels overwhelming, then reach out!
